This villa originated as a small summer house in the 1920s in Monte Estoril, near the seaside town of Cascais. It has been successively altered over the years, with the prior owners adding much to the interior, but neglecting its exterior. With extensive roof repairs needed, the current owners began a campaign of repairs that led to new designs of the exterior facades without touching the window or door openings. The new architecture of the facades used details of self-supporting stone and plaster to greatly enhance not only the beauty but the overall value of the property.
