Located just across the road from the Quinta da Bacalhoa, this museum originated as an abandoned workshop and bus depot that had been scarring the landscape and the relationship of the historic Quinta to its surroundings. In 2019, the Bacalhoa group purchased the premises to renovate and refurbish the buildings into a museum linked to the Quinta and other museum spaces housing the family's extensive art collection.
