This Quinta started with a plot of land and an old structure left in ruins. With a new family and a taste for agriculture, the client wanted to create a new family from the bones of this ruin, making it once again the focal-point of the property and including residences for the caretakers of the land.
The building finds its expression in the rich local flavors of traditional and classical architecture of this area, deep in the east of the Alentejo region of Portugal, where, rural estates and vineyards have dotted the countryside for centuries.
